As I looked into the water

Which fisherman has not tried to look into the hole in winter? Probably everything. As a child, when I came to the banks of the river, I often liked to do it. The late grandfather even used to say: you like to poke your nose where you don't need to.

In the transparent depths, I saw the real magic kingdom of Neptune himself. The ridges of stones and pebbles did not look at all the same as in the aquarium. Algae in their entire life size and objects that got into the water, overgrown with moss, complemented the idyll of the fairy tale. Of course, my main interest was in observing the behavior of fish under a thick shell of ice.

One winter day I quarreled at home with my sister. Twisting her fingers at her temple, she said that an ambulance should come for people like me and immediately added - I need to be treated ...

The next day, having collected winter fishing rods, I got to the reach and went out onto the ice. This time there was no bite for a long time, and I decided to lie down on the ice and look into the hole to see with my own eyes that there is still fish here. With one hand I shielded myself from the light, and with the other, on my index finger, I held a fishing line with a jig. Striped handsome perches stood right under the hole, not paying any attention to me and my jig. Just some kind of sleepy kingdom, I thought. Well, I decided, you don’t want to be caught like that, I’ll take a trick, and started a game with them, like with a kitten. Making different variations of the jig nods, speeding up and slowing down the pace, I simply "turned on" them, causing a chase and attack.

And with the help of this game of "cat and mouse" I was able to deceive and pull out on the ice several measured, palm-sized perches. Got into excitement and was completely captured by this exciting hunting game.

I don’t remember how long I spent in such a horizontal position, but suddenly someone with a strong jerk quickly turned me onto my back. Naturally, hitting the bright light, I abruptly closed my eyes and for the first moment lay motionless, dazed. And then suddenly I heard the first words, as I understood, addressed to me: "Mom, but he doesn't even breathe like ... Probably, the guy felt bad, but there was no one to help ...". When I got up, I saw that among the people standing at the hole, one was in a white coat and with a suitcase, and not far away, on the shore, there was a car with the inscription "ambulance". Shaking off the snow and ice crumbs, I began to look at them as if they were sleepwalkers. Also for me, the circus was arranged for fishing, apparently, the fishermen were not seen. Choice abuse and reproaches fell on my head. It turned out that I was to blame for something in front of them.

And what happened, it turns out, is the following story. Passing along the shore, a compassionate aunt saw a man lying on the ice face down, without movement. Quickly calling an ambulance, she expected to be praised for her quickness and thanks for her help. And then all of a sudden both her and me began to be scolded by all and sundry, they began to threaten to send to the police for a false call to a medical car. And all this instead of the expected gratitude.

It turned out that the compassionate grandmother was embarrassed herself, and even dragged me into this embarrassment.

At home, I didn't say anything to my sister. It turned out that her words about the "ambulance" really turned out to be prophetic.

Method of use

If you have the entire list of additional equipment for the pool, then questions will not arise. Pour it into the skimmer, wait for it to disperse the product across the pool, turn off the pump, wait for the sediment to settle, which you remove with a special water vacuum cleaner. And then you turn on the pump for the final filtration. Don't you have all this? Then do as we do))

Alternative method

Turn off the filter pump. Dilute the coagulant in a bucket of water. Thoroughly spin the water in the pool)) If it is round, then just walk in a circle so that the water moves and itself mixes the dose that we pour into it. I hope she explained it clearly))) While the water is still moving, pour out the water with the diluted coagulant. Everything, we leave hours at 6-8.
The sediment will resemble white-transparent flakes, they will settle to the bottom. Very noticeable if the precipitate is slightly shaken. And the very bottom will be covered with a dark coating.

The next step is to remove all this sediment from the bottom. Do you have a water purification kit with a water vacuum cleaner? Then connect it to the filter pump and collect the sediment from the bottom. Just one more thing: the filter pump must be powerful, from 3000 l / h.

Don't you have such a set? Bad. Then, perhaps, you will be satisfied with our scenario with a conventional submersible pump (I give a link, I hope no one will take it for an advertisement). This is exactly what we purchased. Of course, then it will be useful to us in the economy, for its intended purpose.

With a submersible pump, we collected all the sediment from the bottom, carefully moving across the entire area of the pool. A bit time consuming but effective.

1. It is worth paying close attention to the issue of planting cucumbers. The fact is that limited space negatively affects the ability of the plant to bear fruit.

Between the bushes themselves, you need to leave at least 30 centimeters free.

2. Also, it will not be possible to do without pollination. The most difficult thing with this issue is the situation with those who grow crops in a greenhouse. In this case, it is worth doing this process yourself without the participation of bees.

3. Many experienced gardeners like to use mulch. This simple method will make your life much easier, because you will not need to fight weeds.

In addition, mulch is an ideal solution for those who cannot irrigate on a permanent basis. This technique helps to "fix" the water for a longer period.

18 TIPS FOR GROWING FLOWER SEEDLINGS

1. For growing seedlings, sowing is carried out in early spring, in February-March. Sowing in a warm greenhouse - in mid or late April, depending on the weather.
Show in full.
2. For sowing, you can use flat ceramic pots, boxes, special disposable peat pots. A drain hole is required in any container. The dishes must be washed, even if they are fresh from the store. The day before sowing, the land is watered.

3. As a rule, the seed contains the primary supply of nutrients necessary for the initial stage of growth, therefore it is best to use compost with the addition of peat and sand for growing seedlings.

4. The earth must quickly pass water. Be light and loose. Before sowing, the soil is lightly compacted with a palm or any even object. 1 cm should remain to the top of the container. Before sowing, the soil is moistened again.

5. Seeds are scattered over the surface. You can make grooves with a ruler (slightly pressing it with an edge into the ground) and sow the seeds in rows. You can mix the seeds with a little starch or chalk before sowing so that they can be seen on dark ground. Such sowing will avoid thickened sowing. After that, large seeds are covered with an even thin layer of earth.

6. Very small seeds (ageratum, begonia, lobelia, petunia, purslane) are mixed with sand 1:10 before sowing, after sowing they are not sprinkled with earth. The sowing plate is covered with glass or placed in a plastic bag, which is tightly fixed. And they put the bag in a shaded place.

7. For germination, seeds need a moist environment with access to air. In such conditions, the seeds collect water (swell), begin to breathe, biochemical reactions are activated in them, and after a certain time they hatch. Most of the annual flower crops sprout in 10-14 days.

8. Most likely, after 3 - 4 days, fresh seeds of the cruciferous family - levkoi, lobularia, malcolmia, ornamental cabbage - sprout. However, seeds of morning glory, cobea, coreopsis, toadflax, snapdragon, molucella, nirembergia, salpiglossis, and Drummond phlox usually take only 20 days to germinate.

9. Verbena shoots appear just as long and uncommonly. Germination energy and germination rate decrease during storage of seeds. These indicators deteriorate especially rapidly at a critical time, when the period of natural preservation of these qualities ends.

10. Seed germination is influenced by temperature. The seeds of most of the annual flower crops hatch and sprout at a temperature of 20 ° C during the day, 16 - 18 ° C at night.

11. Heat-loving balsams, gatsania, dahlia, morning glory, cobea, nirembergia, pelargonium, tunbergia, celosia and sage germinate better at 22 - 24 ° C. Cold-resistant ornamental cabbage, levkoy, lobelia, lobularia, snapdragon, chrysanthemums, scabiosa prefer lower temperatures for germination of -14 - 16 ° C.

12. Light does not affect seed germination in most crops. They can be germinated both in the light with the obligatory shading from the direct sun, and in complete darkness. But there are a number of crops that require diffused light for seed germination, these are ageratum, Waller's balsam, lobelia, lobularia, snapdragon, mimulus, petunia, purslane and celosia. In contrast, complete darkness is required for germination of seeds of verbena, salpiglossis, phlox Drummond and schizanthus.

13. Crops should be ventilated periodically. As soon as the sprouts hatch, the dishes are placed in the light. The polyethylene or glass is lifted, and after a few days they are removed completely. It is necessary to turn the dishes to evenly illuminate the seedlings with sunlight. Watering at this time should be done with extreme caution, overflow is dangerous by the development of a black leg.

14. However, it is necessary to carefully study the biological characteristics of the culture. If you grow annuals - asters, salvias, tagetis, zinnias, dahlias, etc., be guided by the date by which you want to get flowers. If you want your flower garden to be the brightest and most attractive by the beginning of the school year, sow in mid-April, since most varieties of annual crops bloom about 80 - 100 days after germination, plus the time for survival after planting seedlings. In addition, aster is often grown with a pick and 3-5 days are added for the survival of seedlings. If we need flowering beds early, then we carry out sowing earlier. In this case, to save space, we grow seedlings with subsequent picking.

15. The experience of many gardeners suggests that many annuals are easier to grow directly by sowing in the ground. To do this, it is necessary to prepare the soil in the fall and have a large supply of seeds, since germination in open ground is always lower. Not all aster varieties are suitable for this growing method, but only curb, semi-double, early ones.

16. The seedling method also has to be chosen when growing flower crops with very small seeds - petunia, purslane, snapdragon, etc. The seedlings of these plants are so small and weak that they can easily die in the open field.

17. The cultivation of perennial flower crops by the seed method has a number of features. In the first year, these plants do not bloom, so early sowing is not necessary. The seedling method is used only with a small number of seeds in order to obtain and preserve as many seedlings as possible.

18. If there are enough seeds, then crops such as rudbeckia, Gaillardia, aquilegia, lupine, primrose, etc., can be sown on the ridges from May to July. In the fall or spring of next year, they can be planted in a permanent place. Another thing is the cultivation of seedlings of biennial crops, for example, “pansies” - viola. If the seedlings are sown early in March, the plants will bloom in the first year.

As I looked into the water - a garden and a vegetable garden

Aspen,
I only light up for 9 hours, there is no way to lower the temperature at night) and only recently began to open the lid of the greenhouse.
I’m thinking, isn’t it time to drop the fertilizer? And what? Barrels, maybe? Monophosphate seems to be too early .. he also launches flowers.
I also love all sorts of exotics. but the place is sorely lacking. but put strawberries in twists)) a bit late, of course, but how it will be.
I want to sow cabbage right in April in a greenhouse for seedlings. broccoli. home flour with her. stretched out.

A. also cuttings of queen cells of petunias.
I left it in the fall as an experiment.
In general, it was successful, but powdery mildew attacked the mother liquors. and as luck would have it, no infection from her at home was found. I had to throw it out just in case))) but managed to remove the cuttings. Easy wave)
And somehow I liked it better than messing around with seeds, to be honest. but, of course, conditions are needed. Until the last, I kept the queen cells on the loggia, there is + 3-5. and still slowly grew .. of course put the cuttings on the racks.but after transshipment of 200 g, I will put the glasses on the loggia again. so as not to pearl .. another two months before disembarkation.

And she drew it up. dahlia found in the fall in a closet on the loggia. completely forgotten. the wrinkled potatoes were already. Well, I dug into a small container and left it on the loggia. and It flooded, I had to remove the cuttings and put on rooting)) everything took root. really frail, but I think it will pick up))
These are the things so far)))

Plush, cabbage after germination should be placed in the coldest place. It can withstand even small frosts. And onion seedlings too.

How could this not be found? And potassium permanganate, and milk whey?
I wouldn't fertilize. I advise you to pinch after 4 pairs of leaves. HERE then you can. Well, and a stimulant before landing.

Dahlia is generally strong about wintering and dormancy. They have a weak point rather a lock.
They'll all dial. To do this, then it is advisable to follow and immediately cut off the fading flowers.

I have several bags of seeds that are expired. Rare.
I still think how to approach in order to look after later. And in what way to wake up. Temperature or oxygen.

Sorry to spoil it. But I'm sure that at least a few, but they will ascend)

Cutting petunias is generally a wonderful thing. Varietal (and hybrid) properties are preserved. And the trouble is still less than with the seeds.

I didn't think about whey, but processed it with potassium permanganate, by the way. but, apparently, it is still not enough.
This is in the photo already pinched several times!)
I also love dahlias with seeds, I will sow later, they grow like undermined and stretch out.
I also have old seeds. can soak in peroxide?

Plush, Well, peroxide is like aeration and softens the shell a little.
I do it with an old aerator for the aquarium and in a canvas bag.
In Donbass, the moisture in the soil usually ends abruptly. Steppe. Therefore, the problem with the emergence of carrots, dill. And they quickly pop up and very amicably.

You shouldn't pinch the eustoma so early)
You are undersized like

Not. I only pinch petunias))) eustoma can be blown off with a sneeze for now))))

Sorry to interfere, but seed germination can be increased if you provide a difference in day / night temperatures.
I germinated a lot of old seeds in this way in a greenhouse. I am making a hanging shelf. During the day, when it is sunny (and, even there is no sun, insolation works), the pots with seeds on the shelf warm up. It's cold at night, but they don't freeze.
Probably, it is possible to provide such a regime in the apartment (put it in a bachelor for the night).
It really works.

Titmouse,
An interesting experience.
Need to try. )))
Plates in a bag.

I cover the plush with a film, with perforation, the main thing is that the soil does not dry out before germination.

Titmouse, here everyone butt without problems)

And this is you with all the seeds?
How many days has it been like this?
And what if very small.

Titmouse, here everyone butt without problems)

And this is you with all the seeds?
How many days has it been like this?
And what if very small.

No, not with everyone. I'm talking about the principle itself - a temperature difference increases and accelerates germination.

Well, there is the same way first in hot water seeds. 50-70 degrees. Depending on the seeds. Then in the cold under the tap. Dry and sow

I welcome everyone. I'm talking about home flowers.
I didn’t know that the Golden Mustache was blooming. I have had a plant for many years. And now it bloomed

Hello
Has anyone tried Tomato MONGOL Dwarf?
And then they were just praised on some resources.

Aspen,
I planted last year. But there are no impressions, because, due to circumstances, I planted it in the ground very late. in the greenhouse. as a compacting culture))). and did not understand. to be honest.
Thank you for reminding me, I need to try again this year, what if)))
He does not need to be pinned at all. they are the main harvest.
